What is personal data?

Any information that can be directly or indirectly traced back to a natural person who is alive is personal data. This includes names, e-mail addresses and personal identity numbers, but also images and usernames in digital media.  

What personal data do we collect and in what context?

We collect personal data for different purposes:

Employees
SWIPP collects the name, email, social security number, phone number, address of our employees.

Recruitment
SWIPP collects the names and e-mails of potential new employees via applications received. In direct contact, we also collect telephone number and address information.

Customers
SWIPP collects names, e-mails, telephone numbers of customers in connection with the establishment of business contracts.

Potential customers
SWIPP collects names, emails, phone numbers, company names, professional roles of potential customers. This collection can be done via e-mail, telephone, physical meetings or via forms where the user has booked a demonstration or requested a quote. 

What do we do with the information?

Employees
SWIPP processes personal data about employees in the context of the employment relationship (personnel administration).

Recruitment
The information is used to get in touch with people who have chosen to contact SWIPP about job opportunities.

Customers
The information is used to maintain business contacts.

Potential customers
The information is used to contact potential buyers of our services.

Other
Collected data is not passed on to third parties.  

Where is the personal data stored?

All our data is always stored in Sweden.  

How long is personal data stored?

We conduct an annual review of the personal and contact information we collect and delete information that is no longer deemed necessary. 

Your rights

Among other things, you have the right to request an extract from the register and to have your data corrected if it is incorrect. You also have the right to have your data erased.
